Caring for the Animals is an activity in JumpStart 3 Ring Circus.

Description[]

At the first screen, the player will able to move their mouse cursor over several circus animals and their trainer Sara to learn more about the animals or about Sara.

When the player selects one of the animals by clicking on it, the second part of the activity will start. The player must make matches with the cards by clicking on them to turn them over. The cards display photographs of the animal that was selected. Sometimes, a star or an hourglass will appear over one of the cards. Making a match with a star card temporarily turns all of the cards over, giving the player a chance to memorize their places. Making a match with an hourglass card will give the player more time, which is indicated by how many lights are lit up at the right side of the screen. If the player runs out of time, all of the remaining face down cards will be shuffled, then the timer will reset and the player will be allowed to resume.

When all of the cards have been matched, the activity is complete, and the player will earn a reward.

Difficulty level differences[]

  • Level one: The player must make matches with 8 cards.
  • Level two: The player must make matches with 12 cards.
  • Level three: The player must make matches with 16 cards.

Begin the game by choosing which animal you want to learn more about. Move your mouse over the tiger, the elephant, the alpaca, the horse or the zebra to learn more about them, and then click to play a game.

The object of this game is to uncover sets of matching cards before the timer runs out. Click on a card on the screen to turn it over and see what picture is underneath. Then, click on another card to see if it's a match. If they match, both will stay face up. If they don't match, the will turn back face down and you can choose again. Try to remember what picture is under each card as you turn them face up.

There are two bonuses you can get. If you click on a card with that has an hourglass on it and then get a correct match, you will win bonus time on the timer. If you click on a card with a star on it and then get a correct match, you will earn a sneak peek at the pictures under all the cards.

If your timer runs out before you find all the matches the face down cards will mix up, but don't worry, you can continue playing.

To make the game easier or harder, click on the leveling icon on below. On level 1, there are 8 cards to uncover, on level 2 there are 12 and on level 3 there are 16.
