The Connect the Dots Book is an activity in JumpStart Preschool (1998). It is designed to teach numbers and letters at a preschool level. It is accessed by clicking on the connect-the-dots books on the bookshelf in the classroom.

It appears to be based on the Notepad activity from the 1995 version.

Description[]

The player can make pictures by connecting the dots in Eleanor's books. There are two books that the player can choose from: one with numbers, and one with letters.

The player must click on the dots in either alphabetical or numerical order. Each time the player clicks on a dot, Eleanor will say the number or letter out loud. The bookmark has the numbers or letters in use highlighted, and in the correct order.

When all the dots have been connected, a picture will be completed. Then the picture will be colored in, and a short animation will play.

Difficulty level differences[]

  • Level one: The letters A-E and numbers 1-5 are used.
  • Level two: The letters F-O and numbers 1-10 are used.
  • Level three: The letters A-Z and numbers 1-20 are used.
