Egbert is a male-programmed robot character who first appeared in JumpStart Adventures 3rd Grade: Mystery Mountain.
Egbert is a mostly yellow robot with a cylindrical head, long blue arms with yellow hands, and no legs or feet. He has two blue bolts on each side of his head with a pencil tucked behind one of them, and a spring with a large yellow mechanical flower attached to the end coming out of the top of his head. He wears a white sleeveless lab coat with black buttons. He always hovers above the ground.
Personality and characteristics
Egbert is called the "resident egghead" by Botley. He resides in the Shrinking Machine Room with his specimens, to which he has a deep emotional attachment, calling them his "lovelies" and his "babies". He is deeply insulted when Polly insults them or his care of them. He was made of recycled tin cans and is proud of it. He is legless and has a hovering device on the tip of his abdomen. He briefly mentions that his role model is the NORAD computer.
