Rainbow Ribbons is an activity in JumpStart Math for Kindergartners designed to teach measuring skills.

Description

Too-Loose the tailor needs help measuring ribbons to wrap birthday presents with. Too-Loose will give instructions on which measurement tool to use, and how many of that tool to use to equal the length of a ribbon. The player must then get the number of items that Too-Loose asks for, and place them by the measuring tape. The items can be placed one at a time by clicking on them in the bag, and then clicking on the measuring tape. Once the correct number of items has been placed, the player must click on the ribbon that matches the length of the items.

This activity doesn't have difficulty levels.

Here's your chance to help Too-Loose decorate Guthry's birthday presents with ribbons made from rainbows! Knowing Too-Loose, he'll need all the help he can get!

• Listen to Too-Loose. He'll tell you what to measure the ribbon with.
• Click on the specified item in Too-Loose's bag. It will attach to your cursor.
• Move your cursor to the tape measure and place the item there by clicking your mouse. Make sure you place the number of that item that Too-Loose asked for.
• Once you have placed the right number of items on the measuring tape, click on the ribbon of the same length.
