Serving Up Fractions is an activity in JumpStart 1st Grade (1995). It is accessed by clicking on the serving counter in the lunchroom. It is designed to teach fraction skills for first graders.

The player helps serve the kids their lunches. The player has one minute to serve as many kids as he or she can. When a kid arrives at the serving counter, he or she will ask for a certain amount of a certain food. Each kid holds a tray that has areas representing fractional amounts. The player clicks on the food that the kid wants, and then clicks on the area on the tray that has the same fraction that the kid asked for. The fractions on the trays can range from one quarter (fourth) to one whole, and the trays can be shaped like either circles or rectangles. If the player doesn't act for a certain amount of time, Ms. Pickles will appear to suggest that he or she (the player) move more quickly.

Once a certain tray is filled the way a kid requests it, after saying, "Thank you" to the player, he or she will (messily) eat right from the tray while still at the line before leaving.
