An example of a tutor mode in JumpStart Reading for Second Graders
A Tutor Mode is a feature found in many JumpStart games.
The tutor mode is designed to give players help with the various educational concepts covered in a game. The tutor mode can usually be accessed from the toolbar, and displays a list of subjects/topics covered in a game. When a particular educational topic is selected, an explanation of that topic will be brought up. Some games contain an "auto-tutor" option, where the tutor mode will automatically launch if the player makes many mistakes.
The JumpStart Advanced series tutor mode is contained within the JumpStart All-Stars feature.
